Trip to St. Paul: Part Two

On Friday, we met Nick for smoothies, and then he led us into Minneapolis by way of car and light rail.  This was our first Minneapolis downtown experience, and we weren't disappointed.  Minneapolis, downtown, seems to have no homeless, litter, or graffiti - how is that?

There was even a snake lurking outside the courthouse building!

We first thought that this sculpture was left behind by a goat, but then noticed little humanoids enjoying the pile.

We were followed by paparazzi.

Nick, still beaming after feeling good about his job interview at Whole Foods in the morning.

Just across the Mississippi River is the old Pillsbury's Flour mill.  It was huge, and was originally powered by the water.

Along the river, we saw several bald eagles, woodpeckers, geese, ducks, and large carp.

This bald eagle was taking a bath!

Stone Arch Bridge used to be a railroad bridge to bring grain to the Pillsbury's mill, but is now a cool pedestrian bridge.
