That's a nice picture of the mallard! He seemed to be quacking quite happily.
It was cool to see the white-tailed kite picture...I couldn't have pictured what a kite looked like. And I would never have known that those red-shouldered hawks were not red-tailed hawks. Great hawk picture, too! You have the perfect viewing spot to see them!
Mr. Mallard must have liked the looks of our duckweed pond, because that's all the further he went. He disappeared later.
