Lastly, I must ask...did that thing really just crawl up out of the bathroom sink? Or did you put it there? I lived in that house for years; I sure am glad I didn't get up for a drink of water and see one of those things in the bathroom sink!
Yes, that is a scorpion, and I didn't put it there. A couple days ago, I saw something quickly pull into the drain, and thought it was a spider. Then last night, in the dark, I went to photograph me in the bathroom mirror with my headlamp, and the scorpion was totally out in the sink. He quickly scurried back into the drain, except for his claws. He is still there today, waiting for food. I'm just leaving him alone for now. Dave, I thought you loved scorpions.
