Poking Around the Yard

Below are some photos from walking around the yard looking at stuff yesterday and today.  The frog photos are from earlier in the week, however.

One of our bullfrogs spent most of the day trying to eat a bird.



 It appeared that the bird was a fledgling grosbeak.  The frog eventually gave up.

These are all REALLY amazing pictures. That first garter snake one -- wow! And all the insects!

When I first saw the katydid, I thought you were taking a picture of a mosquito as it sucked blood out of your arm. I was wondering if you were going a little too far. Relieved you are not using yourself as a living lure for photographic subjects, yet. :)
