Yachats River Valley Farm Tour

Last Saturday was the 9th annual Yachats River Valley Farm Tour.  Four of the seven farms are woman-owned enterprises.  A favorite stop is Nancy Kromer's farm, The Ranch, at the end of the road at mile 11. The scene on Saturday was very sweet, like a Norman Rockwell painting or a movie set from the past. There were free mint juleps (non-alcoholic), plus baked goods, fruit, and grass-fed beef for sale.  The Oregon Coast Recorder Society was performing, too.
